Medal of Honor: Allied Assault (abbreviated MoH:AA) is a 2002 first-person shooter video game developed by 2015, Inc. and created by Steven Spielberg.^[1] The game was published byEA Games for Microsoft Windows and Aspyr for Mac OS X. The title was officially released in North America on January 22, 2002 and in Europe on February 15, 2002 for Microsoft Windows. The Mac version was released in August 2002. It is the third and only installment with expansion packs of the Medal of Honor series. The game, based on the Quake III Arenaengine with modifications from Heavy Metal: F.A.K.K.², simulates infantry combat in the European and North African Theaters during World War II. Allied Assault is the first game in theMedal of Honor series to be released for Microsoft Windows.
